With our modern, digital 3D x-rays (DVT) it is possible to accurately plan desired and potential implant positions on the computer three-dimensionally prior to surgery and to implant surgery through the so-called computer navigation during implant surgery.
The transfer of the planned implant position into reality happens via drilling templates, which are used during surgery for positioning the implants.
Through navigated implantology in our practice in Kitzbühel/Tyrol, it is usually possible to reduce trauma from surgery to a minimum. Typical risks of surgery, such as harming the nerves, can thereby be avoided.
Thanks to this 3D technology we can conduct surgeries that are only minimally invasive. Implants can often even be inserted without a scalpel!
Through the minimally invasive dentistry, surgical interventions have become largely pain- free and complications have been reduced to a minimum.
