WHAT IS PLASMA?
Plasma is an energetic, highly reactive gas that has been proven to eliminate bacteria, viruses, fungi and prions. This makes it possible to effectively, quickly and biologically remove the biofilm causing the disease from all teeth and periodontal areas within a few minutes, for example during professional periodontitis treatment, which includes full mouth disinfection. Cold plasma is obtained by splitting oxygen atoms (O₂). This produces ions, electrons, ozone (O₃) and singlet oxygen (O).
