Anesthetic treatments ITN

Enjoy relaxed treatments by making use of our various anesthesia methods. Are you afraid or simply want to be under anesthesia during dental treatment? We offer a wide range of sedation options.

Good to know

Patients repeatedly ask whether they can have their dental treatment under anesthesia. Dental treatment under anesthesia is an option for customers who – are afraid – have a strong gag reflex – have little time and for whom comfort is important – want extensive complex complete restorations – require major surgical procedures such as bone augmentation. We also perform dental treatments under general anesthesia for these patients in our practice. On the day of anesthesia, specialists in anesthesia are in the practice and look after our customers before, during and after dental treatment. Our perfectly coordinated workflows make it possible for us to carry out all steps in-house on the same day. This outpatient form of treatment is therefore easy to manage. We are also happy to arrange hotels or guesthouses for you where you can stay for relaxation and a short break around the procedure and give you tips for a nice supporting program for family members who are travelling with you.

How does treatment work?

Whether you are a candidate for general anesthesia or other forms of sedation and/or would like this can be easily determined during the consultation, during which the therapy is determined together. Depending on the choice – here using the example of general anesthesia – the basic procedure is as follows:

  1. Preparation by a specialist/anesthetist who will look after you during the general anesthetic, before and after the procedure. This takes place in parallel to the preparation by our team, depending on the extent of the work to be carried out (see also information on general restoration or aesthetics).
  2. During the procedure, you will be monitored by the specialist regarding the anesthesia. We carry out activities to restore your jaw and teeth.
  3. Immediately after the operation/anesthesia, you will have time to recover on our premises and can either be taken by a family member/friend or a cab to your desired location for further recovery. You should take it easy the days after and follow our recommendations. Please keep to the check-up appointments so that we can achieve the best result for you.

Summarized

Anesthesia is often chosen to make the experience of surgery more relaxed. Many people are afraid, feel too stressed by a procedure or cannot cope with a strong gag reflex. Don’t worry. We offer the right form of sedation for your individual needs and will be happy to advise you. Depending on your choice, for example general anesthesia, you will receive intensive care from a specialist/anesthetist before and after the procedure, so that you are well looked after. In this case, you will not notice anything of the dental treatment. If, for example, teeth have to be extracted, implants placed and the immediate restoration carried out, you will wake up and already have a firm, healthy bite again!
