Tooth inflammation
Tooth inflammation that causes acute pain should always be professionally treated by a dentist. Depending on the cause, there are various individual solution options. The aim in the first step after clarifying the cause is to relieve the pain and take measures that always serve to preserve the affected teeth.

FINDING CAUSES AND IMPLEMENTING SOLUTIONS.
Acute tooth inflammation can have a variety of causes. Clarification of the causes, ways to relieve existing pain, as well as measures to preserve the teeth and, if not possible, extraction of the affected tooth are among the dental activities that can follow here. It is important that you waste no time and consult a dentist for clarification. In many cases, time also plays a significant role in acute situations in order to make the preservation of the teeth possible at all.
FAILURE TO TREAT CAN LEAD TO LOSS OF TEETH.
Severe inflammation is accompanied by a weakening of the immune system, bleeding gums and much more. A number of chronic diseases (cardiovascular disease, diabetes, etc.) are closely linked to inflammation of the periodontium. Take this disease seriously and take measures to recover. We will provide you with competent support.
How does treatment work?
STEP 1. DIAGNOSIS AND TREATMENT RECOMMENDATION.
After taking a medical history, clarifying the type of pain, vitality tests including reaction to hot – cold etc., it may be necessary to take a 3D X-ray to further specify and isolate the cause. In many cases, the affected quadrant or tooth – i.e. the affected area – is sufficient; in some cases, the entire jaw is also useful for creating an examination image. Cysts, necrotic tissue, root canal-treated teeth that have died and much more can be clearly recognized here and can be helpful for clarification and subsequent healing attempts. It is not always possible to preserve the affected tooth or teeth.
STEP 2. THERAPY IMPLEMENTATION, CONTROL AND MAINTENANCE.
If the inflammation is advanced and the teeth are dead and/or severely damaged, they may become loose and/or have to be extracted. This should be avoided whenever possible. We always aim to preserve the teeth. However, if it is unavoidable and indicated, the tooth/teeth must be extracted. With our established expertise in providing immediate restorations immediately after an extraction, you can increase the chance of optimal healing with metal-free ceramic implants and leave the practice on the same day with an immediate dental restoration. No gaps, metal-free and biologically compatible for the body.
Summarized
HEAL INFLAMMATION AND ACT IMMEDIATELY!
The insidious thing about developing periodontitis is that you often feel no pain. Acute toothache often occurs when you least need it, due to inflammation that has not been treated and healed for years. If you experience toothache, it is always advisable to clarify the cause immediately and consult a dentist.
CAUSE OF INFLAMMATION.
The reasons for acute tooth inflammation can be fourfold. Accordingly, the subsequent healing attempts and measures are also different. If the tooth can no longer be saved, extraction is necessary. For such situations, we offer the option of immediate implants with zirconium oxide ceramic implants. These are high-performance ceramic dental prostheses that are inserted immediately after extraction and thus also enable an optimal healing situation. Immediate tooth restoration with a temporary restoration also gives you the option of leaving the practice with a new tooth that is biocompatible and metal-free. Once the healing phase of the implant is complete, this temporary “tooth” is replaced by the final solution, such as a crown.
IF YOU SUSPECT THIS, SEEK CLARIFICATION.
We strongly recommend that anyone who has regular gum inflammation or bleeding gums should have a professional examination and seek advice on whether and what action needs to be taken. Without targeted treatment, your teeth and overall health are at high risk. Act for the good of your health. We will be happy to help you.
